The research excellence and scholarly achievements of three of CAIDA’s members has recently been recognized as recipients of UBC’s 2022 Faculty Research Awards.
Julia Rubin (Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Science) was awarded a UBC Killam junior research fellowship. The Killam research fellowships enable faculty to pursue full-time research during a recognized study leave. Azim Shariff (Psychology, Arts) was awarded a UBC Killam research prize in the “Arts & Humanities” category, and Cristina Conati (Computer Science, Science) was awarded a UBC Killam research prize in the “Applied Science, Medicine, Sciences” category. The UBC Killam research prizes recognize outstanding research and scholarly contributions. Up to ten Killam research prizes are awarded annually to full-time tenure-stream faculty members.
